Abstract

An extensive survey of experimental and numerical investigations devoted to predicting optimalparameters of the isolated Savonius rotor and in a couple with .the given Darieus one was done. Basingon review recommendations were given to determining of optimal parameters for obtaining the maximumstarting torque of Savonius rotor.
